The business members are:
Chris Barnes
CEO
As a Mature Student studying Management, Psychology and Politics, Chris is the member of the team with the most life experience. He is the teammember with the most management experience, both at work and whilst coaching and umpiring hockey matches. This made him the obvious choice for CEO.
Chris B also has the role of IT Director as he has extensive knowledge in IT, having worked in the industry for numerous years. His roles include giving the team direction, maintaining the website, developing new contracts and relationships with local businesses, plus he helps to sell our products.
Chris Howland
CFO
Chris is studying for an accountancy degree and has had experience with dealing with finances in a previous business. Chris H roles involve keeping an overall control on the finances, preparing financial statements and making sure the company is keeping its cost in line with budgets. He is also involved with selling stock.
Matt Dawson
Operating Director
Matt's role involves putting the products together, getting them ready for dispatch and keeping in control of stock levels. This also involves negotiating with suppliers and maintain good working relationships. Matt is also involved with selling stock.
Marketing Director
Clara’s role involves communicating with our target markets and raising awareness of our business. Clara is also in charge of exports as she has developed contacts in several countries. She, as the most arty member of the team, is also responsible for designing how we display our hampers and is often involved with their contents. Clara is also involved with the selling of stock.
Faye Dennison
Sales and Distribution Director
Faye has worked as a buyer before for a printing company and has worked in the retail industry in many different sectors.
